OBC, EWS reservation implemented for AIQ UG, PG AYUSH seats: AACCC
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has announced the implementation of OBC and EWS reservation in All India Quota (AIQ) UG and PG seats.All the concerned Candidates of NEET-UG and AIAPGET are hereby informed that it has been decided by the Ministry to implement 27% OBC reservation (Non-Creamy Layer) and 10% EWS reservation in 15% UG...
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has announced the implementation of OBC and EWS reservation in All India Quota (AIQ) UG and PG seats.
All the concerned Candidates of NEET-UG and AIAPGET are hereby informed that it has been decided by the Ministry to implement 27% OBC reservation (Non-Creamy Layer) and 10% EWS reservation in 15% UG and PG All India Quota seats (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS/MD/MS) (Contributed by the State/UTs).
This reservation will take effect from the current Academic session 2021-22.
Consequently, the overall reservation in 15% UG and PG All India Quota seats would be as follows:
1. S.C. – 15%
2. S.T. – 7.5%
3. O.B.C. –27% (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list
4. EWS –10% (as per Central Government norms)
5.PwD – 5% Horizontal Reservation.
