BFUHS Announces Counselling Date for QAI UK Level 4 Diploma in Caregiving, Midwifery Course, check details

Punjab- Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced the date of walk-in counselling for admission to the QAI (Qualifications and Assessment International) UK Level 4 Diploma in Caregiving and Midwifery course for the academic year 2024.
As per the official notice issued in this regard, the Walk-in Counselling for admission to QAI (Qualification and Assessment International) UK level 4 Diploma in Caregiving and Midwifery course 2024 will be held on 03 March 2025 at 10.00 AM at BFUHS.
Therefore, participating candidates who have not deposited the application fee can deposit the requisite fee of Rs. 1180/- incl. GST and Rs.590/- for SC candidates online at the venue of counselling. Candidates are required to come along with a fee and all the original documents. However, candidates who fail to attend the walk-in counselling on the said day will not be admitted to the programme.
QAI is for those who have passed the 10+2 exams with 60% or more marks, or who are graduates/postgraduates, and are interested in preparing to be eligible for a job as a care worker in the UK.
It is a total of 1200 hours program, conducted in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation, India. The program is mapped to Level 4 of RQF England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It includes a 3-month internship as part of a ten-module program. Some of the key features of the QAI include English language skills in the context of health and social care, understanding of the British healthcare system, patient-centred care, health and safety, interpersonal skills, mental health and dementia, professional practices, etc.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BUFHS) was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot.
