BFUHS invites fresh registrations for MD, MS, PG Diploma, Ultrasonography, DNB courses, details

Punjab : The BFUHS has invited fresh registrations for MD, MS, PG Diploma, Six Months Training In Ultrasonography, PGDSM & DNB Courses in view of the revised cutoff NEET PG percentile.

The Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide letter No. V.11025/379/2022-MEP dated 17.10.22 and notice dated 20/10/2022 issued by National Board of Examination, New Delhi, revised the qualifying percentile for Post Graduate courses under NEET PG-2022. Therefore, fresh online registration/applications for MD/MS/PG Diploma, Six Months Training In Ultrasonography, PGDSM & DNB Courses are invited from lowered percentile candidates only through university website upto 23.10.22 for 2nd round of online counselling.

The candidates will deposit fee of Rs. 5900 (SC Rs. 2950) including GST through payment gateway available at university website upto 23.10.2022.

1. The lowered percentile Candidate will submit willingness and security deposit as per the rules & regulations of Government of India posted . Only those candidates will be considered for 2nd round who will submit willingness by depositing requisite security amount for participation upto 23/10/2022, however, the fee deposited by them will be adjusted and they will have to pay the remaining amount of security deposit. The consent/willingness is mandatory to participate in 2nd round.

The amount of Security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under :

(i) For Government colleges - Rs. 25,000/- (half for SC/BC)

(ii) For Private Colleges - Rs. 2,00,000/-

2. The Candidates will deposit the application fee and submit the security amount upto 23/10/2022

3. The candidates will login to fill their choices/preferences of specialty/colleges after 24 hours of submission of security amount upto 26/10/2022.

4. The candidates to apply under NRI category will have to seek the eligibility certificate from the university up to 23.10.22. (Detailed guidelines for NRI is available on NRI corner of website)

5. Once, the candidate has joined the allotted seat in or after 2nd round of counselling then he/she will not be allowed to surrender the seat as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 16.12.2021 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 10487 of 2021 Nihila P.P Vs Medical Counselling Committee and ors.

6. Candidate to whom seat will be allotted in 2nd round but they do not report/join at the college may exit with forfeiture (i.e. The security deposit will not be refunded in such case)

7. Candidates who will not join the allotted seat in Round 2 will be eligible for further rounds of counselling subject to forfeiture of security deposit and will register fresh in only mop-up round. The provisions with regard to security deposit, option of free exit and eligibility for participation will be as per the Gazette Notification No.MCI¬34(41)/2018 Med./109835 dated 18/05/2018 and FAQs posted on MCC website.

8. The security deposit will be refundable to those to whom no seat will be allotted in 2nd round of counselling.

Note: Objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit alongwith relevant documents/record in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot.

In case there is any change in provisional allotment after considering objections, the same will be displayed through university website on

The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of fee (Six month fee security deposit) through university payment gateway through university website and will join the respective allotted college.
