Bond Service Allotment: DMER Maharashtra adds 20 more seats for MD, MS medicos

Maharashtra: The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER Maharashtra) released the seat matrix of the newly added seats for the allotment of Bond Services for the MD/MS summer 2022 batch.

A total of 20 seats are newly added for the allotment of Bond Services for the MD/MS summer 2022 batch. The highest number of seats is added to GMC Trauma Care, Nagpur and GMC Yawatmal, with 6 seats each.

Detailed seat matrix –

1. GMC Sindhudurg – 2

2. GMC Truama Care, Nagpur – 6

3. Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel – 5

4. Rajashree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, GMC Kolhapur – 1

5. GMC Yawatmal – 6

The candidates who have MD/MS/Diploma passed during summer-2022 of MUHS from Government/Government added institute are eligible for bond service.

The seats will be allotted as per subject merit for posts of Senior Residents, Tutors, Speciality Medical Officer, and Medical Officer based on marks obtained in the Post Graduate degree examination. All posts will be allotted on a merit basis as an open category.

The following are the vacant positions available for bond service –

1. Senior Resident and Tutors in Government/ Corporation/Govt. Aided Medical Colleges.

2. Specialty Medical officers in Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Peripheral Hospitals.

3. Specialty Medical Officer/ Medical Officer in Public Health Department, if any.

4. Specialty Medical Officer/Medical Officer in Navi Mumbai/ Kalyan Dombivali/Pune/Nashik Municipal Corporation and ESIC Hospitals.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research supervises the working of 42 institutions, including Medical and Dental Colleges, Teaching Hospitals and Health Units, under its purview to achieve optimum academic standards. It supervises Medical Education which includes Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Super Specializations. It also coordinates the Research activities in Fundamental Research, Applied Research & Operational Research in the Institutions under its control.
