NEET PH 2024 Admissions in Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh: Through a recent notice, the Director of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has released the revised eligibility and ineligibility criteria for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Stray Vacancy Round Counseling for the academic year 2024-25.
The schedule for the NEET PG mop up and stray vacancy round for the Chhattisgarh State Quota seats was recently revised. Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that as per the revised schedule, the DME Chhattisgarh is going to start the Stray vacancy round on the 17th of February 2025 and it will end on the 23rd of February 2025.
After this, the choice filling/locking process will be done from the 17th to the 18th of February 2025. However, there is no new online registration/fee payment for this round. Thereafter, on 19th February 2025, the seat allotment process will be conducted and on 20th February 2025, the result will be published on the official website of the DME Chhattisgarh.
Now, the DME Chhattisgarh has released the eligibility and ineligibility criteria for the NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round, which is as follows:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
As per the eligibility criteria, specified by the State DME, only the following candidates will be eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round:
1. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first or second round of NEET PG state medical counselling but did not take admission or opted for "Reject" in the first or second round.
2. Candidates who are registered but have not been allotted any seats in the previous rounds.
INELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The ineligibility criteria, released by Chhattisgarh DME, states that the following candidates are ineligible to participate in the stray vacancy round:
1. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Mop-up Round.
2. Candidates who have accepted their allotted seat in any round but have not completed the admission process.
3. Candidates who have accepted their allotted seat in the previous rounds, appeared for scrutiny but were declared ineligible.
4. Candidates admitted through AIQ 3rd round will not be eligible for the State Stray Vacancy Round.
5. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
