CPS Diploma Admissions in Gujarat: DME Releases Instructions For Candidates, Details

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released the instructions for candidates appearing in the CPS Diploma Courses offline counselling process.

Due to the current pandemic situation and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and instructions from the Government of Gujarat, the counselling process will be conducted through video conferencing. The counselling process will be organized by Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPPGMEC).

7 medical colleges are there where the video conferencing will happen. Candidates can select the help center for participating in an offline round for admission in CPS Diploma Courses at the time of consent.

The colleges include –

1. B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad

2. Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad

3. Government Medical College, Vadodara

4. Government Medical College, Surat

5. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Medical College, Rajkot

6. Government Medical College, Bhavnagar

7. GMERS Medical College, Dharpur, Patan

Before attending the counselling process, all the candidates should see the seats available on the admission committee's website. The admission committee shall allot the seats as on available vacancies.

DME has instructed the candidates willing to participate in the counselling process to give online consent. To participate in the offline round for admission in CPS Diploma Courses, the candidates have to log in to the website https://www.medadmgujarat.org/CPS/CPSHOME.HTML?v=3 using their User-ID and Password to give online consent. The last date to give online consent is 10th June 2022 till 11:00 am.

The candidates note that they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process if they fail to give online consent during the stipulated time. After giving consent, students have to take the printout of the consent form available in the registration details. The form will show the date and time of consent given by the candidates, along with the details of the help center. The candidates will have to bring the consent form at the time of offline counselling.

The candidate who will remain absent at the date and time of counselling allotted to them will have no right to admission. An Authority letter or proxy will not be allowed for offline counselling admission. They will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted admission on vacant seats during counselling. If candidates are not willing to take admission to the offered seat, they can refuse the admission.

List of documents to be brought into the counselling process –

1. 10th Marksheet.

2. 12th Marksheet.

3. All-year MBBS Marksheets.

4. 12 months internship completion certificate.

5. Copy of NEET-PG-2021 Marksheet.

6. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship: School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate.

7. Domicile Certificate (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar / Executive Magistrate / Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State only (in case of candidate born outside of Gujarat).

8. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

9. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha' 4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2019.

10. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2019 11. Copy of Passport, if Citizenship is Dual / Foreign.

The tuition fees of CPS Diploma Courses in the private institutions -

1. Merit Quota Seats –Rs 600000/Year

2. Institutional Quota Seats –Rs 1200000 to Rs 1800000/Year

The candidates must pay the following tuition fees for 6 months by cash or DD in favor of ACPPGMEC-CPS payable at Gandhinagar. All candidates must write the name, merit type, and general merit no. of CPS behind the DD.

1. Tuition Fees for 6 months in government institutes – Rs 300000 (merit quota seats)

2. Tuition Fees 6 months for self-financed institutes – Rs 600000 (institutional quota seats other than DDV & DMRE)

3. Tuition Fees for 6 months for self-financed institutes – Rs 900000 (institutional quota seats for DDV & DMRE)

The candidates will have to pay provisional enrollment fees and the cost of an electronic paperless device (EPD) at the time of confirmation of admission immediately by 2 separate DD. The provisional enrollment fee is Rs 85000, and the cost of an electronic paperless device is Rs 75000. For enrollment fee, the DD has to be made in favour of the College of Physicians & Surgeon of Mumbai and payable at Mumbai, and for EPD in favour of Paptronics Pvt. Ltd and payable at Pune.
