Days before returning to India for his wedding, MP Medico studying MBBS in Russia dies under mysterious circumstances

Bhopal: In a tragic incident, a medical student from Datia district in Madhya Pradesh studying MBBS at Northern State Medical University in Arkhangelsk, who was engaged and was about to get married in November after returning to India, died under mysterious circumstances in Russia.
Just days before he was set to return to India on July 2, his parents received a phone call from a friend, also a student at the same university in Russia who informed them that their son had gone out to eat with friends a few kilometers away from the hostel and had allegedly died after falling from a rooftop.
As of now, the exact cause of his death remains unclear, and only a police investigation can confirm whether it was an accident, suicide, or murder.

Suspecting foul play, the family planned to get in touch with the officials or police in Russia on Monday since the incident came to light on Sunday. Meanwhile, they have appealed to the Indian government to help bring Bharat's body back to India as soon as possible.
As per TOI news report, the incident reportedly happened on June 20. His close friend Yash, who also studies in Russia, informed the family about the student's death through a phone call on the evening of June 21.
The student, a 31-year-old, had been studying MBBS at Northern State Medical University in Arkhangelsk since 2019. According to his family, he had recently completed his final exams on June 20 and was set to receive his degree on June 28. He was expected to fly back to India on July 2.
He was the only son of Dr. Mulayam Baghel, a local doctor who also runs a motorcycle agency in Indergarh. Bharat is survived by his parents and a sister.
After this incident, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav expressed his grief and said on 'X', "The news of the death of ***, resident of Datia, Indargarh, in Russia, is very sad. I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the grief. He had gone there for studies.
I have instructed the officials to complete the required formalities as soon as possible to bring his body to India. The state officials are in touch with the Indian Embassy."
