Defer PG admission process for allied health sciences at JIPMER: Puducherry MP to Health Minister

Puducherry: Lok Sabha member from Puducherry V Vaithilingam on Monday urged Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to intervene and direct the authorities of Jipmer here to postpone the admission process for PG courses for Allied Health Sciences for some more time.
In a letter to Mr Mandaviya, Mr Vaithilingam said that the admission process for PG courses for Allied Health Sciences is under process in Jipmer.
It is learnt that the counselling for few courses are scheduled during this week, he said due to COVID pandemic, even the NEET examination for PG admission had been postponed many times and now it is scheduled to be held in middle of September.
The Congress MP also pointed out that many Universities in India are yet to conduct the final year examination for the UG (Allied Health Sciences) courses and students are not in a position to appear for counselling.
