BDS Admissions 2021: 549 Seats available at BFUHS, Check out Counselling Schedule for Mop-Up Round 2
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the counselling schedule and seat matrix for Mop-Up round 2 and eligibility criteria for stray vacancy round for the BDS course.
The candidates can do the registration process till 5th May 2022. And those who have registered for this round of participation will have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 5900 including 18% GST. The fee for SC candidates is Rs. 2950. The last date to pay the fee is 5th May 2022. After 5th May 2022, the candidates will not be allowed to make changes to the application form. The details will be locked automatically.
The last date of submission of willingness along with deposition of security amount by the candidates is 5th May 2022. For government colleges, the candidates have to pay Rs 10000, and for private colleges, Rs 100000 as a security amount online. Already registered candidates who have not submitted their willingness and are eligible for this round will have to pay the same security amount.
For already registered candidates who have submitted willingness for government colleges only and now want to change their preference and are eligible for this round will have to pay the balance of Rs 90000 online. The candidates who have already paid the amount and are eligible for this round need not pay again.
On 6th May 2022, the provisional merit list will be published of the candidates who have submitted their willingness. Between 7th May 2022 till 9th May 2022, the candidates can fill their college/course/quota/category choices online.
Processing of seat allotment and display of provisional results will be done on 10th May 2022. The selected candidates can join the college up to 12th May 2022.
The candidates who need fresh registrations will have to pay the registration fee and security amount at the time of submission of willingness as per rules. The candidates who are registering for the first time will have to do fresh registration. The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1st online counselling with free exit up to 28th February 2022 and do not hold any seat of AIQ/ state quota rounds 1 or 2, or Mop-Up or stray vacancy round fresh registrations are needed.
The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of round 2 counselling and exit with forfeiture of fee up to 14th March 2022 can apply afresh for this round.
The candidates who are not allotted/holding any seat in any previous rounds and who have applied afresh after forfeiture and have not been allotted any seat in previous rounds are not required to do fresh registration for this round.
BFUHS has notified that the candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of AIQ/state quota counselling of rounds 1 or 2 and those who are allotted seat of AIQ/state quota counselling of Mop-Up or stray vacancy round are not eligible to participate in this round.
All registered candidates except the candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of rounds 1 or 2 and allotted a seat in Mop-Up or stray vacancy round are eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round. However, the candidates holding seats in previous rounds of counselling are not eligible for the stray vacancy round.

The tentative vacancy for admission to the BDS course has also been released. A total of 549 seats are allotted for the BDS course. The government quota has 138 seats, and the management quota has 411 seats.
