BDS Admissions: Maha CET Cell releases Counselling Schedule, provisional Seat Matrix For Mop-Up 5, Institutional Level Rounds

BDS Admissions: Maha CET Cell releases Counselling Schedule, provisional Seat Matrix For Mop-Up 5, Institutional Level Rounds

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has announced the counselling schedule for Mop-Up round 5 and institutional level round 2, a provisional list of eligible candidates for an institutional level round 2 and the seat matrix for institutional level 2 and Mop-Up 5 for BDS course in Government/Corporation/ Unaided Private/ Minority Dental Colleges.

The candidates of Mop-Up round 5 can join and fill the status retention form till 7th May 2022, 5:00 pm.

For institutional level round 2, the eligible candidate can apply in person/any person to respective college in prescribed format separately for State Quota and institutional Quota till 8th May 2022, 4:00 pm. As per selection list 1, the candidates can join between 9th May 2022 till 11th May 2022, 5:00 pm, with all original documents and requisite fees.

On 11th May 2022, up to 5:00 pm, the joined candidate list and vacancy details after selection list 1 will be published. The selection list 2 and the waitlist will be published on 11th May 2022 up to 6:00 pm. As per selection list 2, the candidates can join between 12th May 2022 till 14th May 2022, 4:00 pm, with all original documents and requisite fees.

On 14th May 2022, up to 5:00 pm, the joined candidate list and vacancy details after selection list 2 will be published. Waitlisted candidates can report to college for the residual vacancy with all original documents and requisite fees on 15th May 2022, 2:00 pm. The filling of residual vacancy from reported waitlisted candidates will be done on 15th May 2022, 2:00 pm onwards.

Maha CET Cell has further notified that the vacancy created at private dental colleges due to betterment/shifting during Mop-Up round 5 for government/corporation dental colleges is permitted to fill from waitlisted candidates during institutional level round 2.

Institutional round 2 is only for private unaided/minority dental colleges and for seats remaining vacant after Mop-Up round 1. All the candidates already admitted for BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTH/ BOTH/ BASLP/BP&O/ B.Sc. Nursing courses are also eligible for the institutional level round for the BDS course. If such candidates are selected, they should have all the original documents at the time of joining.

The institute will verify and ascertain the candidate's eligibility as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidate, even if the name appears on the eligible list. The candidates can check the eligible candidates' list for State Quota (85 %) and Institutional Quota (15 %) on the website published on 2nd May 2022.

All eligible candidates registered with State CET Cell who have paid Rs.1000 or Rs.6000 can apply for vacant state quota seats. All eligible candidates registered with State CET Cell who have paid Rs.5000 or Rs.6000 can apply for vacant institutional quota seats. However, their name has to be mentioned in the list of eligible candidates.

For the institutional round, eligible and interested candidates should approach the Dean/Principal of the respective colleges within the prescribed time, submit an application form, and submit a separate application for state quota and institutional quota in person or any person. Such types of applications should not be submitted to the State CET Cell in person or by email. Such applications submitted in the State CET Cell will not be considered valid for any institutional level admission process.

At the time of admission during the institutional round, the candidates should submit all their original documents along with requisite fees in the form of DD/Cheque during the prescribed time limit.

Candidates note that the above schedule may change if the cut-off date is extended by the concerned council/ Hon'ble Court/ State Government before starting any activity mentioned above.
