BDS Admissions: Maha CET Cell releases mop-up round 3 schedule, Procedure Of Institutional Round, list of candidates
Maharashtra: MAHACET CELL has recently announced the list of eligible candidates for institutional round, seat matrix, counseling schedule Mop-Up round 3, and procedure of institutional round for BDS course.
The list of eligible candidates for an institutional round for the BDS course in private/unaided/minority institutes for institutional quota and state quota has been released. The lists are based on the information provided by the candidates in the registration form. The candidate's admission will only be confirmed after the verification of original certificates at the admitting college. The benefit of reservation will only be available upon production and successful verification of the requisite documents.

A total of 2400 seats are provisionally available this time for BDS course in private/minority dental colleges for an institutional level round and 326 seats are provisionally available this time for BDS course in government/corp. dental colleges for Mop-Up round 3.

The selection list only for the dental courses in government/corp./government aided dental colleges for Mop-Up round 3 has been announced recently. Candidates can join the college till 10th April 2022 up to 5:00 pm. The college admitted will verify the original documents and ascertain the eligibility of the candidates as per the NEET(UG)-2021 brochure.
Candidate needs to submit all original documents and pay requisite fees to the selected college within the stipulated time and if they fail to do so their admission will be canceled. All reported candidates irrespective of joining/not joining should collect acknowledgment from the allotted college.
This seat allotment is conducted on the seats that are approved/permitted by MCI/NMC/DCI and affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik only.

Counseling schedule for Mop-Up round 3 –
BDS course in government/corporation colleges only –
Joining & filling status retention form for MOP UP Round 3 – till 10th April 2022, 5:00 pm.
Private unaided dental colleges –
1. The eligible desirous candidate must apply in person/any person to respective college in prescribed format separately for State Quota and institutional Quota – till 9th April 2022, 2:00 pm.
2. Publication of quota-wise merit list, 1st Selection List at the notice board and the website of respective colleges – 9th April 2022 after 4:00 pm.
3. Joining period of selected candidates as per 1st Selection List dated 9th April 2022 with all original documents and requisite fees – 10th April 2022 – 11th April 2022, 12:00 pm.
4. Publication of quota-wise list of joined candidates and vacancy after 1st Selection List on notice board and the web site of respective colleges – 11th April 2022 after 1.30 pm.
5. Reporting of waitlisted candidates to college for the residual vacancy with all original documents and requisite fees – 11th April 2022, 4:00 pm.
6. Filling of residual vacancy from reported waitlisted candidates – 11th April 2022.
The procedure of institutional round for BDS course at private unaided/ minority medical colleges –
This round is only for private unaided/minority dental colleges and for seats remaining vacant after Mop-Up round 2. It will be the responsibility of the college to verify and ascertain the eligibility of the candidate as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidate even if the name appears on the eligible list.
The list of eligible candidates for the state quota (85 %) and for the institutional quota (15 %) is available on the website. All eligible candidates registered with State CET Cell who has paid Rs.1000 or Rs.6000 can apply for admission on vacant State Quota seats. All eligible candidates registered with State CET Cell who has paid Rs.5000 or Rs.6000 can apply for admission on vacant Institutional Quota seats. (Provided their name is mentioned in the list of eligible candidates).
For the institutional round eligible and interested candidates should approach the principal of the respective colleges within the prescribed time and submit a separate application for state quota and institutional quota in person or any person. Such types of applications should not be submitted to the State CET Cell in person or by email.
At the time of admission during an institutional round, the candidates should submit all their original documents along with requisite fees in the form of DD/Cheque during the prescribed time limit.
All the candidates already admitted for BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTH/ BOTH/ BASLP/ B P&O/ B.Sc. Nursing courses are also eligible for an institutional level round for the BDS courses. If such candidates are selected, they should have all the original documents at the time of joining.
The admission process should be completed before the cut-off date prescribed for each course that is declared by the respective Central Council and Competent Authority from time to time. All the admissions are subject to the approval of the Admissions Regulating Authority after cut- the off date. The college should upload the information about the admitted candidate in the college feedback module of the state CET Cell.
