BFUHS Issues Revised Schedule for Punjab NEET MDS 2025 Stray Vacancy Round, details

Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences(BFUHS) has released the revised schedule for the stray vacancy round online counselling for admission to MDS courses.

All the concerned candidates are advised to take note o fthe following revised schedule.

The fresh online registration/applications alongwith fee of Rs. 5900/- (Rs. 2950/- for SC/BC) including GST through university payment portal are invited through University website as per National Board of Examinations notice dated 14.08.2025 vide which the qualifying percentile for admission under NEET MDS -2025 is lowered/revised as under :

Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with security deposit for Stray Vacancy Round.

The last date for submitting willingness alongwith security deposit by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants).

The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under: For Government colleges - Rs. 25000/- (Rs. 10000 for SC/BC/PwD)

For Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/-

Last date of correction/editing in online filled application form. Thereafter application will be locked automatically. Once information filled and locked, will not be allowed to change.

Note: Thereafter no request for change/amendment in the data will be accepted.

Last date for submitting admission application form for NRI quota

(Application form for getting Eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on University website)

6.

The candidates who will apply under Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Dental Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Dental College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already got verified their minority status at the time of 1st, 2nd& 3rdcounseling, need not report to the respective institute for verify again. The candidates who have already registered under Minority Quota during 1st, 2nd& 3rd counseling and did not get their minority status verified, can report to the respective institute for verification of their minority status for Stray Vacancy round of counseling.

The PCMS incentive category candidate who have registered earlier for NEET MDS 2025 and who will register for Stray Vacancy round counselling and will submit willingness to participate in Stray Vacancy round round counselling under NEET-PG MDS 2025, are directed to submit the NOCs duly issued by the Competent Authority/Secretary to Govt. of Punjab, Dept. of Health and Family Welfare in the University personally till 26.08.2025 (upto 02:00 PM). The application without NOC will not be considered for incentive marks for Stray Vacancy Round of counselling.

The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of fee (Six month fee after deducting amount of security deposit) through University Payment Gateway available on University website and will report to the respective college for joining in the respective allotted college.

Note: If a candidate is allotted a seat in Stray round, he has to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidate does not join the allotted seat, he/she shall be debarred from NEET examination for 01 Year along with forfeiture of fees.

Whether Up-gradation is allowed in Stray Vacancy Round counseling ?

Upgradation is not allowed.

Who are not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round?

Following categories of Candidates are not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round:-

a) Candidates who have not registered for Stray Vacancy Round.

b) Candidate joined/holding any seat at the time of Stray Vacancy Round.

c) Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 and NOT REPORTED. All candidates not falling under above-mentioned categories are eligible.
