BFUHS notifies NEET MDS 2025 Round 3 Counselling schedule, details

Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is conducting the fresh online registration and applications process for the Punjab State National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 3rd round counselling for the academic year 2025 for admission into the MDS courses.
In this regard, BFUHS has released the NEET MDS 3rd round counselling 2025 schedule for the candidates willing to participate in said counselling. The schedule has been released in a PDF format on the official website of BFUHS
As per the schedule, the fresh online registration/applications along with the fee process have already will end on 07th August 2025. The candidates have to pay Rs 5000+18%GST(Rs. 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST (Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates) through the university official payment portal.
However, it is to be noted that already registered cadidates who have deposited security amount in 2nd round counselling and to whom no seat is allotted in 2ndRound, need not to deposit security amount again. However, they will have to submit willingness to participate in 3rd Round, through online payment gateway of University. Below is the complete schedule-

3 | The dates for submitting willingness, along with a security deposit for the 3rd round of counselling, by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants). 4 | The PCMS incentive category candidate who have registered during 1st & 2nd round counselling and who will register for 3rd round counselling and will submit willingness to participate in 3rd round counselling under NEET-PG MDS 2025, are directed to submit the NOCs duly issued by the Competent Authority/Secretary to Govt. of Punjab, Dept. of Health and Family Welfare in the University personally till 08.08.2025 by 11:00 AM. The application without NOC will not be considered for incentive marks for the 3rd Round of counselling. | 08 August 2025 Upto 11:00 AM |

7 | The candidates who will apply under the Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Minority College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already verified their minority status at the time of the 1st & 2nd counselling need not report to the respective institute to verify again. The candidates who have already registered under the Minority Quota during the 1st & 2nd counselling and did not get their minority status verified, can report to the respective institute for verification of their minority status for the 3rd round of counselling. | 08 August 2025 Upto 11:00 AM |

14 | The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit) through the university payment gateway available on the university website and will report to the respective college for joining the respective allotted college. | 17 to 20 August 2025 |

ELIGIBILITY
1 The candidates who can apply afresh for the 3rd Round of counselling (These candidates have to pay registration fee and security amount at the time of submission of willingness as per rules)-
i The candidates who will register/apply for the first time.
ii The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round-II counselling can apply afresh for 3rd Round and they will have to deposit the security amount again for submitting their willingness and choices/preferences of Course/College/speciality as per the schedule.
iii The candidates who exit with forfeiture in round 2 can participate in the 3rd Round but with fresh payment of the fee, i.e. fresh registration and security deposit.
2 The candidates who do not need to apply afresh for the 3rd Round of counselling-
i The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Round I and II need not register/apply again.
ii The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1st online Counselling with free exit upto 19.07.2025 at 04:00 PM. However, they will have to submit Willingness along with the requisite amount of security (equivalent to penalty) and will submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/speciality as per schedule.
3 The candidates who are not eligible for the 3rd Round of allotment.
i Candidate who has become ineligible due to having inadequate documents as per the Eligibility Criteria.
ii Candidate who has not registered in Round 1 or Round 2 or Round 3.
iii The already registered candidates of Round 1 or Round 2 or Round 3 who will not submit their willingness to participate in Round 3 counselling.
iv The candidates who have joined the Round 1 or Round 2 of Punjab state counselling and who will not submit their willingness to participate in Round 3 counselling.
v The candidates who are holding any seat of AIQ in any previous round as per the list to be provided by the MCC.
Along with this, BFUHS has also released the Tentative vacancy position for the 3rd round of counselling under NEET PG MDS 2025. The Tentative vacancy position details have been released in a PDF format on the official website of BFUHS. Therefore, candidates can view and download the same from there.
The Tentative vacancy position includes important details such as college name, courses, speciality, category, quota and vacant seats. As per the vacancy details, a total of 66 seats are vacant across 10 Dental Colleges of Punjab. Of these, Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh has the highest vacant seats with 16 and Christian Dental College, Ludhiana and Luxmi Bai Instt. of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patiala have the lowest vacant seats with 1 each.
