BOPEE notifies on NEET MDS Counselling Registrations, details
Jammu & Kashmir- The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the schedule for online registration of eligible candidates belonging to Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh for preparation of Provisional Merit List (PML) for which they are required to register themselves online for 50% of UT quota seats of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir within the prescribed dates.
This comes consequent to the declaration of the result of the NEET Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) 2024 by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the candidates of Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh who have qualified the entrance exam by securing the cut-off marks prescribed by NBE.
As per the schedule, the online registration will start tomorrow i.e. 07th July 2024 and will continue till 09th July 2024. Candidates can register themselves through the official website of BOPEE. The candidates should register their particulars carefully.
Meanwhile, while registering, candidates will also have to upload some documents. The documents are as follows-
1 BDS degree certificate.
2 Registration with the State/ UT Dental Council/ DCI.
3 Internship Completion Certificate (upto 30-06-2024).
4 Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be.
5 Valid Reserved Category Certificate, wherever applicable, in terms of SRO 294 of 2005 dated 21-10-2005 read with SRO 518 dated 02-09-2019, S.O 176 dated 15-03- 2024 and SO 305 dated 21-05-2024.
6 Difficult Area Certificate in pursuance of SRO 48 of 2018 dated 30-01-2018.
7 NEET-PG Score Card 2024.
8 Valid EWS certificate as per SRO 518 dated 02-09-2019.
9 *NOC from Government/Competent Authority for in-service candidates to pursue MDS Courses-2024.
10. (For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh), an undertaking in the form of a compulsory Service Board (available on the BOPEE Website) that he/she shall serve in the UT of Ladakh for the prescribed period immediately after completing the MDS degree.
11. For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh their ST certificate issued by the competent authority shall be treated as Domicile Certificate.
Apart from this, the cut-off date for the validity of category certificates will be the last date of registration as prescribed by BOPEE i.e. 09 July 2024.
At the same time, “In-service candidates” who have qualified NEET-PG (MDS) 2024 and fall in the zone of consideration will be considered subject to the issuance of “NOC” by the Competent Authority. The board may have the NOC certificate verified by such authorities if it is found expedient to do so. However, they will be allowed to participate in the Registration/Counselling process provisionally but will be allowed to join the allotted College/Institution on production of NOC only within the stipulated dates as fixed by the Board.
