CENTAC Invites Applications For NEET MDS Round 3 Counselling for NRI, Management Quota Vacancies, details
Puducherry- Through a notice, the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has informed about the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) Round 3 counselling registration and submission of course preference. Additionally, it also informed about the submission of withdrawal requests for Round 1 and Round 2 admitted seats for Postgraduate (PG) Dental (NEET MDS) admission for the academic year 2024-25.
As per the notice, CENTAC is inviting fresh online applications from NEET-MDS qualified candidates for admission to the MDS course for the NRI vacant seat at MGPGIDS, Puducherry.
At the same time, fresh online applications have also been invited to unfilled the management vacant seats in government and private institutions in Puducherry. However, fresh candidates will be considered only after the existing merit list is exhausted.
Meanwhile, eligible NRI / NRI sponsored candidates who have already applied to CENTAC for PG NEET – MDS admission against the Government or Management quota can now submit their willingness for the NRI quota after paying the remaining application fee for admission to MDS – NRI vacant seat in MGPGIDS, Puducherry.
Similarly, candidates who have already applied to CENTAC for PG NEET – MDS admission for
Government quota only may also now submit willingness for Management quota after payment of balance application fees for admission to the MDS - Management vacant seats. However, the
candidates opting now will be considered only after exhausting the existing Management Quota merit list.
ROUND 3 REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF COURSE PREFERENCES
Candidates who have qualified Round 2 for PG Dental (MDS) courses can now participate in Round 3 without any limitation regarding the Round 1 or Round 2 allotment. Meanwhile, all candidates who have registered with CENTAC, including the candidates allotted in the previous 2 rounds (Joined / Not Joined) are also eligible for ROUND 3 counselling.
For Round 3 admission to PG Dental (M.D.S.) courses, submission of willingness and filling of course preferences for Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota is already enabled from 21st August 2024, which is going to end tomorrow i.e., 23rd August 2024, at 5.00 PM.
SUBMISSION OF COURSE PREFERENCES
1 There is no registration fee to apply for Round 3 counselling.
2 All candidates registering for ROUND 3 should submit course preferences afresh for Round 3.
3 In round 3, once the candidates expressed their willingness and if a new seat is allotted based on their round 3 course preferences, then the course in which the candidate was admitted in Round 1 or Round 2 will automatically be cancelled.
4 In Round 3, if there are any unfilled NRI seats in MGPGIDS, then that will be converted into All India Management Quota and filled in Round 3 itself.
5 After filling the Telugu Minority Management Quota Seats, the remaining unfilled Telugu Minority quota seats will be converted into All India Management Quota and filled in Round 3 itself.
6 After filling the Management Quota Seats with the existing and fresh applicants from the
Management Quota Merit List, the remaining unfilled Management quota seats will be
converted into Government Quota and filled in Round 3 itself.
7 Sliding will be allowed in Round 3. So, vacancies may arise dynamically at the time of
allotment.
8 Accordingly, Course preferences for Management Quota and Government Quota need to be
submitted irrespective of the vacancies published.
