CENTAC invites applications from NRI candidates for Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge course
Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited applications from the candidates belonging to NRI/ NRI Sponsored/ Foreign Student for admission to Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge course at Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGIDS).
The candidates can submit their online application through www.centacpuducherry.in from 05.06.2020. Last date for submission of application is 11.06.2020 by 05:00 PM.

The fee structure for MDS course for the academic year 2020-21 at Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences.
This year, Puducherry based students are required to pay Rs 1,27,265 as total charges. NRI / NRI Sponsored / OCI Students will have to pay Rs 1,83,018 as tuition fee and US $ 44,000 at the time of admission.

Note: NRI/NRI Sponsored / OCI Students shall pay the fee as one time or can pay in four equal installments i.e first year two installments and second year two installments and there would be 10% increase in the Tuition fee every year.
Fees paid will be refunded after deducting 10% of the total fee deposited by the candidate in case the candidates are transferred to other college or resign before closing date of the admission.
If a student discontinues and leaves the course, any time after closing date of admission the student shall be imposed a penalty amounting to the Institute fee for the full course.
If any NRI / NRI Sponsored / OCI candidate fails to join the course or discontinues the course at any time after the last date of admission prescribed by the Dental Council of India / Hon'ble Court, the fees once paid shall not be refunded in any case and they will get their certificates back only after paying the tuition fees for the remaining part of the course.
Note: If there are no NRI / NRI Sponsored / OCI candidate available / applied, NRI seats will be filled by Management quota seats. As far as the management fee is concerned, it will be as per the fee fixed by Fee Committee constituted by the Government of Puducherry.
(a) Fees payable to the University: Registration fee, Matriculation fee, Recognition fee and Sports fee shall be paid as prescribed by the Pondicherry University.
(b) Examination Fee: University / College Examination fee shall be paid as prescribed by the University / College.
(c) Hostel Fees and Deposits: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available. Hostel accommodation is subject to availability of rooms.

Note: If a student discontinues and leaves the course, only the hostel Caution Deposit (after standard deduction) will be refunded.
