The Round 1 admitted list and vacancy position for PG Dental (MDS) courses have been published on the CENTAC official website. Candidates can participate in Round 2 without any limitation regarding Round 1 allotment.
Meanwhile, for round 2 admission to PG Dental (MDS) courses, submission of willingness, payment of Registration Fee and filling of Course Preferences for Government Quota, Management Quota, Management Quota - Telugu Minority & NRI Quota is already enabled from 18 July 2025, which will close on 23 July 2025, 5.00 pm. All fresh and existing candidates who have registered with CENTAC, including the candidates allotted in round 1 (Joined / Not Joined), are eligible for round 2 counselling.
PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
For participating in round 2 counselling, the candidates are required to pay the Registration Fee as fixed below-
SC/ST candidates admitted in ROUND 1 should pay the Registration Fee of Rs 10,000/- (for Government Quota) and Rs 2,00,000/- (for Management Quota) to participate in round 2 Counselling. Meanwhile, the GE/EWS/OBC/MBC/EBC/BCM/BT should pay Rs 25,000/- for the Government Quota (UT of Puducherry only).
On this, the Puducherry Resident Candidates who opt for both Government and Management Quota seats should pay the Registration Fee of Rs 2,00,000/. Candidates are requested to transfer the Registration Fee to the CENTAC account through net banking or by generating NEFT / RTGS challan using the payment option available in the dashboard login credentials and proceed for payment.
Therefore, only those candidates who pay the Registration Fee will be considered for round 2. However, candidates who have already been admitted through round 1 counselling and have paid their Tuition Fee (except SC/ST candidates) can participate in round 2 without payment of Registration Fee.
FORFEITURE OF REGISTRATION FEE
1 The Registration Fee will be returned to all those candidates who are not allotted any seat in round 2.
2 The fee in respect of the candidates who are allotted seats will be retained and will be adjusted with the Tuition fee, i.e., round 2 allotted candidates need to pay the balance Tuition fee by adjusting the Registration Fee already paid.
3 The same Registration Fee will be forfeited if the candidate who is allotted a seat in round 2 fails to join.
SUBMISSION OF COURSE PREFERENCES
1 All candidates registering for round 2 should submit course preferences afresh for round 2.
2 Candidates are requested to submit their choice preferences irrespective of the vacancies available at the beginning, as some vacancies may be created dynamically due to Sliding.
3 In round 2, once the candidates express their willingness, and if a new seat is allotted based on their round 2 course preferences, then the course in which the candidate was admitted in round 1 will be automatically cancelled.
4 The Candidate is solely responsible for filling course preferences. No request for change in course preferences will be entertained once course preferences are submitted by the candidate.
