DME Gujarat Begins NEET MDS Special Vacancy Round Allotment, Releases Vacant Seat Positions
Gujarat- The Director of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has started the National Eligibility and Entrance Test- Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) special vacancy round allotment and reporting process for the academic year 2024-25.
In this regard, DME Gujarat has released the NEET MDS Special Vacancy Round Allotment and Reporting 2024 schedule. As per the schedule, the Allotment and Reporting Process 2024 started on 18 October 2024 and will continue until 23 October 2024.
For all the eligible candidates included in the Merit List of ACPPGMEC, for admission on Government & Management Seats of MDS Course in Self-financed Dental Colleges for the academic year 2024-25, schedule for Special Stray VacancyRound of allotment and reporting is as follows-

However, candidates already holding a seat/ joined through AIQ or state counselling including private/deemed quota seats are not eligible to participate in the special stray vacancy round of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION CONFIRMATION IN SPECIAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND
The candidate has to submit their original documents as mentioned below-
1 Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC.
2 Tuition Fees Receipt: (A) For SFI Dental Colleges: Tuition fees receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) tuition fees. (B) For Govt. Dental Colleges: Rs. 20,000/-(fees only) for Degree courses through online/ offline mode at Designated branches of Axis Bank.
3 All-year BDS mark sheets.
4 12-month internship completion certificate (Must be completed on or before Dt. 30/06/2024).
5 Copy of NEET-PG-MDS-2024 Marksheet.
6 Document showing Place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate-- compulsory for all candidates & Birth Certificate/ Passport--If birthplace not mentioned in School leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate).
7 Provisional Registration of State Medical/Dental Council OR Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/ Permanent Registration of State Medical/Dental Council OR Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates).
8 For SEBC, SC and ST Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.
9 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only as per Govt. norms issued after Dt: 01/04/2022.
10 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only issued after Dt: 01/04/2022.
11 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.
12 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done BDS outside Gujarat).
13 Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat & only if their birthplace is outside Gujarat).
14 Photo Copy of Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority (For PwD Candidates).
Meanwhile, as per the NEET MDS Special Stray Vacancy Round 2024 schedule for the All Quota, Deemed, Central and State Quota, the last date of joining & admission is scheduled on 25th October 2024.
Along with this, DME Gujarat has also released the vacant seat positions after the MDS Special Stray Vacancy Round for 2024-25. As per the vacant seat positions, a total of 19 seats are vacant across 3 MDS Courses. Below is the detailed vacant seat positions-
