KEA Releases Provisional PG Dental 2026 Fee Structure

The fee structure covers a total of 259 course-college combinations. The document provides separate fee columns for Government, Private, NRI and Management categories, allowing candidates to compare the financial implications of different courses and quotas before participating in PG dental counselling.

At Government Dental College, Fort, Bengaluru, the fee has been fixed at Rs 65,000 for all listed MDS specialities. At Employees State Insurance Corporation Dental College, Gulbarga, the government fee has been listed at Rs 2.70 lakh.

The fee difference becomes much more pronounced under private, NRI and management quotas.

At MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, the private quota fee is listed at Rs 14.75 lakh, while NRI and management fees for some of these branches go up to Rs 20.15 lakh.

Similarly, at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Dental College, Dharwad, the private quota fee is Rs 15.15 lakh, while NRI/management charges go up to Rs 21.80 lakh.

The provisional structure shows that some of the costliest MDS seats are in clinical branches under NRI and management categories.

At D.A. Pandu Memorial RV Dental College, Bengaluru, the NRI and management fee is listed at Rs 25.15 lakh, among the highest figures in the document.

The matrix also highlights how the same college may charge very different amounts depending on the speciality. This branch-wise variation is visible across most participating colleges.

The document also lists selected PG Diploma courses. At K. Venkataramana Gowda Dental College, Sullia, the government fee is Rs 3,47,700, while the private fee is Rs 3,62,700.

At D.A. Pandu Memorial RV Dental College, Bengaluru, Diploma courses carry a government fee of Rs 3,69,776, with no private, NRI or management seats indicated in the matrix.

A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences has government fees of Rs 3,69,776 and private fees of Rs 6,78,384 for some branches.

The KEA document makes it clear that the amount payable depends not only on the college but also on the speciality and quota under which the seat is allotted. In several colleges, a government quota seat may cost a few lakh rupees, while the same speciality under NRI or management quota can run into Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh or more.

For PG dental aspirants, the provisional fee matrix is therefore an important reference before option entry, particularly for high-cost clinical specialities.
