KNRUHS Opens NEET MDS 2025 Admission Registrations Under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana, details

Telangana- The Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is inviting online applications from the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) qualified candidates for admission into the MDS courses for the academic year 2025-26 under Competent Authority Quota (CQ) into Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS including Army Dental College in the State of Telangana.

In this regard, KNRUHS has issued a notification for online registration for web-based counselling to determine State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota (CQ) seats only. As per the notification, candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates on the website from today, i.e. 27th June 2025, 8:00 AM, till 01 July 2025, up to 5:00 PM only.

Meanwhile, the Provisional Final Merit list will be notified after scrutiny of all certificates uploaded at the time of online registration. In addition, the Provisional Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET-MDS–2025 Rank and other eligibility criteria.

Apart from this, the total number of seats available under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025-26 will be notified on the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counselling. The tuition fee payable will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

ELIGIBILITY

1 Candidate should have qualified in NEET-MDS-2025 by securing marks of the Cutoff score or above.

2 Candidates should have passed BDS/Equivalent Degree examination from a Dental Institution in Telangana recognised by the Dental Council of India.

3 Candidates who hold a recognised Dental Degree should have obtained Permanent Registration from the Dental Council of India / State Dental Council after completing a compulsory rotating internship.

4 BDS Graduates should have completed an internship on or before 31.03.2025.

5 In case of in-service candidates, Government service rendered shall be

calculated as on 31-03-2025.

6 The Candidate should be an Indian National, a Person of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India card holder and shall fulfil the following provisions-

i If the candidate has studied in Educational Institutions in such a local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared, or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.

ii Local area herein means the State of Telangana.

CUT-OFF SCORE IN NEET MDS 2025 EXAM FOR MDS COURSES

Candidates should have secured the following cutoff score or above in NEET-MDS-2025-

PROCEDURE FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION

1 The registration and processing fee can be paid through a Debit card, Credit card or Net Banking.

2 The registration and processing fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

3 Visit the website through a Computer with an Internet connection to fill out the application form.

4 Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents which are mandatory.

REGISTRATION AND PROCESSING FEE

The Registration and processing fee of Rs 7,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) is for OC & BC candidates and Rs 5,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates. The fee shall be paid online through a Debit card, Credit card or Net Banking.

DOCUMENTS

The following documents are required-

1 Passport size photo.

2 Admit Card and Rank Card NEET–MDS 2025.

3 Original / Provisional Degree Certificate.

4 Aadhaar Card.

5 Study Certificate(s) from 1st BDS to Final BDS.

6 Latest Category Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of Telangana (If applicable).

7 Latest Service Certificate issued by the concerned Head of the Department, if applicable (issued after 31-03-2025 by DME/DH/Director ESI/ Commissioner VVP/ MD Singareni Collieries and other Competent Authority as notified by the Government).

8 Internship Completion Certificate/ to be completed by 31.03.2025.

9 Permanent Dental Council Registration Certificate.

10 Photo Identity proof (Aadhaar).

Meanwhile, the NEET MDS 2025 qualified and eligible candidates as per concerned regulations who desire to take admission into MDS Courses shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State Competent Authority Quota using NEET-MDS-2025 Ranks in the Website from 8.00 AM on 27 June 2025 to 01 July 2025 up to 5:00 PM only.

Along with this, the candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form and original certificates along with (1) set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of admission for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order will be cancelled.

COUNSELING

Verification of uploaded certificates will be done only once for web-based counselling, irrespective of the number of rounds of exercising web-based options and the number of counselling sessions. Hence, candidates who have applied online are advised to upload all original certificates at the time of online registration without fail for scrutiny by the concerned departmental official. No individual communications will be sent.

The Admission Committee shall have the power to review the selection in case of any errors, misrepresentation or glaring injustice and cancel the selection/admission. In all matters relating to selection and admissions, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding on the Candidates and selections cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.

ADMISSION RULES

1 The letter of selection for admission for selected candidates has to be downloaded from the website after payment of the University fee through the payment gateway.

2 All the candidates including In-service candidates joining the MDS courses shall execute bond at the time of admission on a stamped paper of Rs 100/- to the effect that he/she will complete the prescribed period of training or in default to pay Rs 5,00,000/- to the University and shall refund the amount received as stipend up to that date to the Government.

3 Bond for service after completion of degree: Candidate shall submit a bond for serving the State of Telangana as per existing Government Regulations at the time of admission.

4 The candidates who discontinue the course after the issue of notification for the final round of counselling or later will have to pay a discontinuation fee of Rs 5,00,000/-. They will be debarred from participating in counselling for admission into MDS for three years under KNRUHS.

5 The original certificates submitted at the time of admission to the Principal of the allotted college shall not be returned to the candidates until they complete their course.
