Telangana- Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is going to end the 2nd phase of web-based counselling for allotment of vacant MDS seats after 1st phase of counselling under the Competent Authority Quota for 2024-25 in affiliated Government, Private Dental colleges of Telangana State.

As per the notification in this regard, KNRUHS will close the 2nd phase of web-based counselling tomorrow i.e. 24th August 2024 at 3.00 PM, therefore, candidates whose names are notified in the provisional final merit list of MDS admission are requested to exercise the web options online as per their eligibility for admission to MDS courses before the end of the process.

To exercise 2nd phase of web-based counselling candidates need to follow the following conditions-

1 The candidates who were allotted MDS seats in the 1st phase of counselling and joined the course are also eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options.

2 The Candidates who were allotted seats in the 1st phase of counselling and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.

3 Candidates who have not exercised web options in the 1st phase of counselling are also not eligible to exercise web options.

IMPORTANT POINTS

1 Candidates exercising web options for MDS courses can exercise the web options multiple times, as there is no limit on the number of options for exercising web options, hence candidates can exercise options for any number/all subjects and colleges they wish to join, as per their eligibility.

2 Candidates are advised to exercise web options for MDS seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counselling process due to the sliding of candidates from allotted seats in 1st phase of counselling to other seats as per their web options in the 2nd phase of counselling and vacant unallotted service seats. If candidates are not interested to join in any subject or college they should not exercise web options for the same.

3 If an MDS seat is allotted in this phase of counselling as per web options exercised by the candidate in this phase of counselling, the seat allotted in 1st phase of counselling will be automatically cancelled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.

4 Candidates can exercise web options through a computer either from home / any other place having internet facility. Don’t use Mobiles and Tabs for exercising web options.

5 One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of six six-letter codes with English capitals A to Z.

6 Candidates are instructed to take a printout of saved options. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of a seat if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website for their allotment.

7 The selected candidates will download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by gateway method by using online payment method. Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the allotted college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.

8 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

9 Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates, and the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission.

10 If the candidate does not fulfil the criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent rounds to prevent seat blocking.

11 If the candidate slides to other colleges during 2nd phase of counselling, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from 1st phase join the college, obtain a custodian certificate, collect fees and report to the allotted college before the last date of joining.

12 Candidates are informed that if they exercise web-option for a seat and are allotted a PG seat as per their choice in the web counselling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, they will not be eligible for exercising web options for the subsequent round of counselling.

Meanwhile, the allotted candidates have to pay the university fee of Rs 29,600/- through the online payment gateway and after the payment candidates should download the allotment letter. However, candidates who have already paid the university fee in the first phase need not pay it again. Also, candidates need to pay Tuition fees at their respective Dental colleges.
