KNRUHS To Start 1st Phase of MDS Web Counseling for 2024, Releases Provisional Merit List, Seat Matrix
Telangana- Through a notice, Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has notified regarding the conduct of 1st phase of web-based counselling for allotment of seats for admission into MDS courses for 2024-25 under Competent Authority Quota in affiliated Government, Private Non-minority Dental colleges of Telangana State.
Additionally, KNRUHS has also released a provisional merit list for admission to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) under the competent authority. As per the list, 334 students are considered eligible for admission into MDS courses. Candidates in the merit list are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counselling, they will not be eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.
Meanwhile, all these 334 candidates who are considered eligible in the provisional final merit list can exercise the web option for admission to MDS courses as per eligibility till 15th August 2024 at 3.00 PM.
If the candidate does not fulfil the criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent rounds to prevent seat blocking.
However, there is no limit of choices for exercising web options, candidates can exercise options for any number/all of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per their eligibility. Meanwhile, candidates are advised to exercise web options for MDS seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining. If they are not interested to join in any subject or college then they are advised not to exercise options for the same.
While exercising the web option for admission to MDS courses allotted candidates also have to pay a University fee of Rs. 29,600/- through an online payment gateway such as Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking. After paying the University fee, candidates will have to download the allotment letter. Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the allotted college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter. In addition, candidates also need to pay a tuition fee which is to be paid at the respective Dental colleges. The University fee and other fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Moreover, the non-service and service candidates whose certificates were uploaded at the time of online registration and provisionally verified by the staff of concerned departments and whose names are notified as eligible candidates in the provisional final merit list of MDS Admissions on the KNRUHS website are also eligible to exercise the web - options online.
PROCESS OF EXERCISING WEB OPTION
1 Candidates can exercise web options through a computer either from home / any other place having an internet facility. Candidates are advised not to use Mobiles and Tabs for exercising web options.
2 One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of 6 6-letter codes with English capitals A to Z.
3 Candidates are instructed to take a printout of saved options
4 Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of seats if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website.
Apart from this, KNRUHS has also released a seat matrix for the PG Dental (MDS) course under the competent authority quota (CQ) for the academic year 2024-25. As per the seat matrix, a total of 183 seats are vacant across 9 subjects. The detailed seat matrix is as follows-

DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION
1 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college by the admission committee. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.
2 Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission.
3 Original certificates will not be returned to the admitted candidate unless the candidate discontinues the course before the second phase of counselling.
