MCC releases seat vacancy position for Round 3 NEET MDS Counselling, Opens Window for NRI candidates seeking Nationality Conversion
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the vacancy position for Round 3 NEET MDS counselling. Further the MCC is allowing those candidates who want to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI for Round 3 of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Surgery (NEET MDS) counselling 2024.
As per the official notice in this regard, MCC has informed that the candidates who are claiming to be NRI and want to change their nationality from Indian to NRI, they have to submit certain documents in support of their claim. The documents should be submitted from 03:00 PM today i.e. 13th July 2024 and the deadline to submit the documents in support of the claim to change the nationality from Indian to NRI is till tomorrow 03:00 PM of 14th August 2024.
The documents should be submitted through email ID, which is mentioned in the notice, however, emails received before/after the stipulated time will not be considered. Candidates are also advised to send all documents enclosed in a single mail, within the stipulated time.
i. Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsored).
ii. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017-Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017.
iii. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
iv. *Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate issued within the last 06 months).
v. NEET Score Card of the candidate. vi. Family Tree notarized by Tehsildar
All such candidates are advised to be in touch with the MCC official website for further action.
Meanwhile, Round 3 of NEET MDS Counselling 2024 is going to commence from 12th August 2024. Below is the complete schedule-

Of these, a total of 525 seats are vacant in virtual vacancies and a total of 274 seats are vacant in clear vacancies for Round 3 of NEET MDS counselling 2024.
