Uttar Pradesh- Uttar Pradesh Director General, Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) has released important instructions for the candidates participating in the 1st round of online counselling of UP National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024.

Below are the important information for candidates regarding the online counselling of UP NEET MDS 2024-

Only the candidates declared successful in the NEET MDS-2024 examination conducted by NBEMS are eligible to participate in the UP NEET MDS-2024 counselling process.

All eligible candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2024 need to register themselves by logging into the departmental official website.

While registering, the candidates need to deposit the registration fee of Rs 3,000/- through online. However, the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Along with this, the candidates also need to deposit the security amount through online mode, otherwise, candidates will not be eligible for choice filling. The security amount deposited by the candidates will not be adjusted towards tuition fees under any circumstances.

For candidates allotted to private sector dental colleges, the tuition fee determined by the government/minority institution will be paid in favour of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, U.P. payable at Lucknow. It will be mandatory to deposit the CTS bank draft payable at Lucknow at the designated nodal centre at the time of admission, otherwise the admission will be considered automatically cancelled.

Also, disabled candidates will have to submit disability certificate issued by MCC/NMC nominated by the Government of India, which will be valid only in the prescribed format.

Apart from this, candidates who wants to take admission to private sector dental colleges/universities should lock their choices only after getting complete information about the concerned college themselves.

Candidates will fill out online choices based on their preferences for admission to seats in government/private sector dental colleges. They should fill choices only for those colleges to which they are interested in taking admission. However, there is no limit on filling online choices.

It is mandatory to lock the choices after filling out the online choices. Otherwise, the choices filled by the candidate will be automatically locked after the time period.

The admission process of candidates allotted to government sector medical colleges will be completed in the respective college.

The admission process of candidates allotted to private-sector dental colleges will be completed at the nodal centre set by the government. The list of nodal centres soon be displayed separately on the departmental website.

Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates of Uttar Pradesh are informed that while completing the admission process, it is mandatory to have their Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificate dated 01 April 2024 or later. All certificates related to reservation (OBC, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Economically Weaker Section) will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of Uttar Pradesh in the format prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. A reservation certificate in the format of the certificate to be submitted for posts under the Government of India will not be valid.

Earlier, UPDGME has also released the schedule of the registration for online counselling for UP NEET MDS 2024 and as per the schedule, the registration has begun July 10, 2024, at 5:00 PM and will continue till July 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
