NEET MDS 2025: MCC to reprocess failed security deposit refunds, details submission deadline January 31st

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has informed candidates that the refund process for the security deposit paid during the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Counselling for the academic year 2025.
According to MCC, information received from its financial custodian indicates that the refund of security deposits for some MDS candidates from MCC 2025 Counselling failed due to reasons such as bank account closure, refund failure, or the refund period being exceeded. The list of affected candidates has been attached with the official notice.
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, Candidates are requested to provide account details in an Affidavit duly notarized on Court stamp paper as mentioned in attached Annexure A (Format enclosed) before 31.01.2026 to initiate the refund process of security deposit again.

Affidavit Details for Security Deposit Refund
The candidate must declare their name, father’s/mother’s/spouse’s name, NEET roll number, NEET application number, counselling category (UG/PG/SS), year, and the security deposit amount for which refund is being requested.
The candidate must confirm that they participated in NEET-UG/PG/SS counselling for the mentioned year.
A declaration stating that the candidate paid the security deposit to MCC of DGHS for counselling participation and has not yet received the refund.
The candidate must acknowledge awareness that the security deposit is refundable only if:
the candidate reported to the allotted college after Round-2, exercised free exit in Round-1,and must also acknowledge the conditions under which the security amount is forfeited as per the counselling scheme.
A formal request to MCC of DGHS to refund the security deposit to the bank account details provided in the affidavit.
A list of mandatory supporting documents to be enclosed:
a) Copy of Aadhaar Card
b) NEET Admit Card bearing roll number (UG/PG/SS)
c) Details of the bank account from which the amount was remitted
d) Details of the bank account to which the refund is to be made
e) Scanned copy of passbook or cancelled cheque of the refund account
A solemn declaration stating that all information provided is true and correct, with an acknowledgment that any false or incorrect information will invite action, and the candidate will lose any claim over the remitted amount.
