NEET MDS Counselling 2024: DCI Releases Special Stray Vacancy Round Schedule after percentile reduction
New Delhi- The Dental Council of India (DCI) has released the AIQ and State schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the NEET MDS counselling 2024 for All India Quota/Deemed/Central/State Quota after the reduction in qualifying percentile.
Through the letter, the MoHFW has informed that the ministry has decided to reduce the cut-off percentile to qualify for NEET MDS 2024. The cut-off percentile will be reduced by 21.692 percentile for each category i.e. General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD. Of these, the cut-off percentile for general is 28.308, for SC, ST and OBC is 18.308 and UR-PWD is 23.308
The qualifying percentile for NEET MDS 2024, for the academic session 2024-25 now stands as under-

The DCI notice states, "As per Letter No. V.12025/84/2024-DE dated 17.09.2024, the qualifying percentile for MDS Courses for NEET MDS Counselling 2024 has been reduced by 21.692 across all categories by MoHFW."
In this regard, the fresh schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is as follows:

"Candidates already holding a seat/ joined through AIQ or State counselling including private/Deemed quota seats are not eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round of MCC," the notice added.
For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/ Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.
