NEET MDS Counselling: MCC releases revised seat matrix for Govt Dental College and Research Institute Bangalore

New Delhi- The MCC has released the revised seat matrix for NEET MDS Counselling 2025 at the Government Dental College and Research Institute, Bangalore.
The MCC mentioned that the institute had inadvertently filled the wrong seat matrix for the All India Quota (AIQ) and accordingly requested the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to change the seats speciality-wise.
This has been informed by the MCC through a notice for all the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) Counselling for the academic year 2025, participating candidates. Therefore, as per the notice, the changes have been made on the MCC portal.
Hence, the candidates are advised to edit their choices as per the revised seats.
Meanwhile, as per the revised seat matrix, now a total of 13 seats are vacant across 6 MDS Specialities. Of these, oral and maxillofacial pathology and oral microbiology, oral medicine and radiology, Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics, Pediatric and preventive dentistry, and periodontology have 2 seats vacant respectively.
In addition, conservative dentistry and endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics, Prosthodontics and crown bridge and public health dentistry have 1 seat vacant respectively. Below is the detailed revised seat matrix-

MCC recently released the Final Seat Matrix for NEET MDS 2025 Counselling. The seat matrix includes detailed allotments under the All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities (DU/BHU/AMU), and Deemed Universities.
On this, Medical Dialogues has recently reported that a total of 1,142 seats are available under Deemed Universities, 36 seats under Central Universities, and 396 seats under the AIQ category. These seats are distributed across nine MDS specialities, including Conservative Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, and more.
