The Directorate of Medical Education conducts NEET MDS counseling. The admissions are based on NEET MDS. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET MDS 2022 marks, and other factors.
DME is the administrative body of Chhattisgarh and overlooks Medical Education in the State through Medical and Dental Colleges. It plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
