Screening Test For PG Dental Candidates to be held on 13th February 2023: DCI

Delhi: The screening test for PG Dental qualified candidates is scheduled for 13th February 2023. The Dental Council of India (DCI) has announced this through a written notice.
As per the notice, the PG Dental qualified candidates who have applied to the DCI in the previous year to appear in the screening test for recognition of their foreign PG dental qualification but failed or were absent in the examinations and willing to reappear in the screening test can apply to DCI by 27th January 2023.
The list of eligible candidates will be forwarded to the prescribed authority, i.e. National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, to allow them to appear in the screening test. The candidates, who wish to apply, will have to deposit Rs. 10000 plus 18% GST by NEFT/IMPS in the council’s saving account. The bank details are enclosed in the notice below.
The eligible candidates will also be informed by the DCI separately. All eligible candidates declared by the DCI will have to go through the DCI Screening Test Regulations available on the DCI’s website, i.e. http://dciindia.gov.in, for the DCI Screening Test Examination syllabus. The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, will directly issue the admit card to all the eligible candidates for appearing in the screening test. The examination schedule has been uploaded by the NBE, New Delhi, at its website, i.e. www.natboard.edu.in.
The Dental Council of India has been constituted by an Act of Parliament to regulate the profession of dentistry and also to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country. It is the statutory and bounden duty of the DCI to take such steps which are required to be taken to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country.
Any dental qualification granted by any person/authority/institution is not valid unless and until it is according to the norms of the DCI Act and Regulations made there-under, the respective provisions of Sections 10,10A and 10B of the Dentists Act, 1948.
