TN NEET MDS Counselling 2025: Round 1 Registration, Choice Locking Ends Tomorrow, 393 Seats Vacant

Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN Health) is soon going to end the round 1 counselling for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Degree courses in the state Government Dental Colleges, Government & Management, including minority & NRI quota seats in self-financing dental colleges for the 2025-26 session.

As per the schedule, the registration/payment and Choice Filling & locking process is going to end tomorrow, i.e. 06th July 2025. Following this, TN Health will process the seat allotment on 07 July 2025 and the result will be declared on 08 July 2025. Below is the detailed schedule-

1 Candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for MDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 1000/- for Government Quota and Rs 1000/- for Management Quota.

2 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay the following Refundable Security Deposit for Government Quota-

i For Government Dental Colleges – Rs 30,000/-.

ii For Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Dental College – Rs 1,00,000/-.

3 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Rs 2,00,000/- Refundable Security Deposit for Management Quota, including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges.

4 All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting choice filling.

5 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.

CHOICE FILLING

1 Candidates will have the option of choosing filling for all the seats for which they have applied. For example, if a candidate has applied for both Government and Management quota, he will have choices for both Government as well as Management quota. The candidates are encouraged to analyse all the choices available and fill in their choices in order of their preference.

2 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.

3 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date ( 06 July 2025, 5 PM), their choices will be automatically locked.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER

1 The Selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.

2 Fee structure is available on the official website.

3 All candidates should make sure sufficient funds are available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.

4 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Dental College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

REPORTING TO THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE

1 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with a scanned copy of their original certificates for verification.

2 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

3 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

4 Candidates are advised to be in touch with our official websites for Schedule / latest updates / Results / Notices / News & Events pertaining to counselling, as the Selection Committee will not be individually contacting the candidates for the same.

5 No communication will be directly sent to the Candidate (s). They are advised to be in touch with the website on a regular basis for any updates.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1 Seat Matrix for the Course will be available on the official websites.

2 The Selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.

3 Admission to MDS Degree courses shall be made by the online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation/ 200 points Roster method.

4 Request for change of course or College, from one to another, is not permitted after final locking.

Along with this, TN Health has also released the tentative vacancy for the MDS Courses 2025-26 in the Government Dental Colleges and the self-financing dental colleges of Tamil Nadu. As per the vacancies, a total of 393 seats are vacant in Government and self-financing dental colleges. Of these, a total of 40 seats are vacant in Government Dental Colleges and a tota of 353 seats are vacant in the self financing dental colleges.
