UPDGME Issues Guidelines for Round 2 NEET MDS 2024 Counselling
Uttar Pradesh- The Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has issued necessary guidelines regarding the 2nd round of online counselling under the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (UP NEET MDS) for the academic year 2024.
The 2nd round of online counselling for admission to MDS courses in Uttar Pradesh state begins today i.e. 30th July 2024 and will end on 8th August 2024. The detailed schedule is given below-

Along with this, the necessary guidelines regarding the 2nd round of online examination under the UP NEET MDS for the academic year 2024 provided by UPDGME are mentioned below-
INSTRUCTIONS
1 The allotment of seats in the 2nd round of counselling will be based on the merit list of the second round.
2 At the time of choice filling in the second round of counselling, the vacant/not reported and resigned seats of the first round will be displayed to the candidates as clear-cut vacancies. Apart from the above vacancy, the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) will also be displayed. SAC seats are a type of virtual vacancy, in which if the seat of a previously admitted candidate is upgraded, then his seat will be allotted to another candidate based on a merit-less option as per rules.
3 It is mandatory for the candidate to lock the choice after filling the choice, in case of not locking the choice, the candidate will not be included in the process of seat allotment, the entire responsibility of which will be on the candidate himself. Unallocated and admitted candidates from the first round of counselling will be given the second round of counselling.
4 There will be no need to deposit the earnest money again for participating in counselling. There is a provision of free exit for the candidates who do not take admission in the first round of counselling or resign after admission. Therefore, if such candidates want to participate in the second round of counselling, then they will have to pay the earnest money again.
5 For government and private sector dental colleges, it will be mandatory for the candidate to get admission to the seat allotted by the second round of counselling, otherwise the entire earnest money deposited will be confiscated. Such candidates will be eligible to participate in the third round of counselling only after depositing the earnest money again.
6 The entire earnest money deposited will be confiscated. For such candidates, for dental colleges in the government sector, all the fees deposited at that time except the admission fee and for dental colleges in the private sector will be deposited by him. The tuition fee deposited at that time will be refunded.
7 CTS bank draft of the tuition fee prescribed by the government for the candidates allotted in private sector dental colleges, issued in favour of Director General Medical Education & Training U.P payable at Lucknow. Yes, it will be mandatory to deposit it at the concerned nodal centre, otherwise the admission will be considered automatically cancelled. 8 It is mandatory for the allotted candidates to undergo medical examination from the medical board constituted at the Dental College/Nodal Centre.
9 As a result of receiving allotment/re-allocation from the second round of counselling, after completing the admission process at the concerned nodal centre, all the candidates will report to the concerned dental college.
10 And the counselling process of all the circles was completed as per the provisions contained in the brochure. Therefore, before participating in the counselling process, candidates are advised to read the government order and brochure.
