DME Assam Begins NEET PG Counselling, Register for Round 1 till September 23, check out full schedule
Assam : The Directorate of Medical Education (DME Assam) has issued a notice informing about the 1st Round Online Counselling for Admission into 50% Post Graduate Seats in Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I, Guwahati under Assam State Quota, session 2022.
This is for information of all concerned that the 10 round online counselling for admission into 50% Post Graduate seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I Guwahati under Assam State Quota for session 2022 will be held as per the "Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021".
Candidates who appeared in NEET-PG-2022 conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and who meets the cut-off scores in NEET PG-2022 may participate in the online counselling. Further, except for the NEC sponsored candidates, the name and NEET PG-2022 Roll No. of the candidate must be present in the list of eligible candidates published by this Directorate.
Online Registration for the counselling will be available at the official website of this Directorate, www.dme.assam.gov.in from 19/09/2022 to 23/09/2022 midnight.
After completion of Online Registration process, Online Choice filling will be available from 25/09/2022 to 30/09/2022, (5 PM). Locking of choice will be available on 30/09/2022 (4 PM to 11.55 PM), after which the choices will be locked automatically if not locked earlier by the candidate.
Processing of seat allotment will be from 01/10/2022 to 05/10/2022. After processing the data, a college-wise and subject-wise list of selected candidates will be displayed along with modalities of admission on 06/10/2022. The selected candidates shall have to get admitted in the respective allotted institutions as directed between 07/10/2022 to 08/10/2022.
The counseling for State Health Service Quota seats shall be held offline only. The date for offline counseling shall be intimated in due course.
