DME Chhattisgarh invites applications for FMG Internship counselling, 600 seats available, check complete details here

According to the notification, the application process is open only to candidates who have qualified the NMC FMG Screening Test and possess the necessary certificates. As per the notification, Chhattisgarh is offering a total of 600 internship seats, including vacancies in government medical colleges at Kanker, Mahasamund, Korba, and major private institutions such as Rawatpura Sarkar Medical College, Abhishek Mishra Memorial Medical College, Shri Balaji IMS, and others.

CG STATE FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (FMG ) NOVEMBER 2025 COUNSELLING TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Qualified and eligible candidates are required to register on the CGDME Counselling official website to participate in the Counselling process for allotment of FMG internship seat. CGDME does not allot any internship seat instead either on a nomination basis or manually. The CGDME will conduct the e-counselling for the Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) Internship Program in Government Medical Colleges of Chhattisgarh State for the year 2025.

1 Candidates are deemed to have read, agreed and accepted the Scheme of Counselling and the terms and conditions of the FMG Counselling scheme on completing the online submission of the application/registration form.

2 Application for FMG Counselling can only be submitted online through the CGDME Counselling website. Application submitted through any other mode shall not be entertained.

3 Candidates are further advised to fill the application form on their own on the CGDME Counselling website and not through any agent or third party, as any discrepancies arising will not be entertained by the CGDME and the candidate will be solely responsible.

4 A candidate can submit the FMG Counselling Application/Registration form only once.

ONLINE AND PROCESSING FEE

After making the payment, candidates must enter the transaction details in the form. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable, whether the candidate joins or does not join the allotted internship program.

Candidates may kindly note that registering for FMG-2025 Counselling does not confer any automatic rights to secure an FMG-2025 Internship seat. The selection and admission for FMG Internship seats in a Medical College recognised for running Under Graduate courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, is subject to fulfilling the merit, admission criteria, eligibility, and any other criteria given by DME.

Candidates should ensure that all the information filled during the online submission of the Application/ Registration form is correct and factual. Information provided by the candidates in the Online Application/ Registration Form shall be treated as correct and self-certified and CGDME shall not entertain, under any circumstances, any request for change in the information provided by the candidates.

CGDME or Counselling Committee 2025 does not CHANGE/ EDIT/MODIFY/ALTER any information (Name, Father's Name, DoB, Nationality, Contact Details, etc.) entered by the Candidates at the time of online submission of Application/ Registration Form for Counselling under any circumstances. The Data entered by the candidate at the time of registration on the NIC portal will be pre-populated and will be used for State Counselling purposes.

MERIT LIST PREPARATION

After the online application process, the merit list of registered candidates will be prepared as follows-

MERIT LIST 1- Candidates who are residents of Chhattisgarh (based on domicile certificate).

MERIT LIST 2- Candidates from other states.

ALLOTMENTS

1 Allotment will first be given to candidates from Chhattisgarh domicile, and then to candidates from other states.

2 Candidates are advised to do Choice filling. It is mandatory to fill all choices in your preferences order; without doing so, the application will not be completed.

3 Allotment will be done only once based on merit. No upgrade option will be provided, and no changes will be allowed even if seats remain vacant.

4 Any candidate not willing to join will have to participate again in the next session counselling process.

5 All admissions will be made through online mode only. Candidates must download the allotment letter from the CGDME Counselling website only.

6 Candidates are informed that they can fill/ update their email address and Mobile Number entries in the registration form as per their liking and OTPs will reach at the respective email IDs and Mobile numbers only.

7 Candidates are advised to use a Laptop or Computer along with the latest registered version of Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS during the Registration and Choice-Filling process to avoid any technical complications.

Moreover, all the documents regarding Documents for verifying Domicile, Class 12th Marksheet/Certificate, Proof of Date of Birth and other documents ascertaining the Eligibility of the Candidate must be dated before the last date of the Registration for counselling. Scrutiny (Physical verification of documents) is mandatory for all the allotted seats. If a candidate does not appear and complete the scrutiny process within the stipulated time, his/their allotment will be cancelled.

According to the notification, a total of 600 seats are vacant across 8 Institutes. Of these, Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Science and Research, Raipur (C.G.) has the highest vacant seats and Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Raipur (CG) and Shri Shankaracharya IMS Bhilai (CG) have the lowest vacant seats, respectively.
