DNB Counselling: NBE releases Revised Schedule for 3rd Round, Physical, E-Joining, Fee Payment
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the Revised dates for Physical Joining, E-Joining and Payment of First-Year Course Fee in respect of the 1st & 2nd Round of DNB Counselling (Post MBBS and Post Diploma). The exam body has also published the schedule for 3 rd Round of counselling.
Due to travel restrictions and quarantine issues communicated by candidates due to COVID 19 Pandemic, the last date of Physical Joining for the 1 st & 2 nd Round of DNB Counselling (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) has been extended upto 31st July 2020.
E-Joining and Payment of First-Year Course Fee for the 2nd Round of DNB Counselling (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) has been revised as under:

Candidates are advised to join their DNB training in accordance with the above-indicated timelines. No relaxation in the physical joining shall be permissible beyond 31.07.2020(1600hrs). Candidates who do not join their allotted institute by 31.07.2020(1600hrs) will lose their DNB Seat & their Fee shall be forfeited. The DNB Seat falling vacant due to non-joining by 31.07.2020(1600hrs) shall be released for inclusion in the 3rd Round of counseling.
The revised schedule of 3rd Round of the Centralized Online Merit Based counseling for admission to DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) courses for 2020 Admission Session is as follows:

Candidates who have joined the MD/MS course in 2020 through the counseling conducted by counseling authority of the respective states are not eligible for participation in the 3rd round of counseling. An undertaking duly signed by the candidate is to be uploaded to this effect as attached herewith at Annexure-I.
Failing to make payment for the allotted seat in the stipulated time for the 3 rd Round of counseling shall lead to CANCELLATION of the allotted seat and make the candidate INELIGIBLE to participate in the Mop-up round.
The Mop-up round shall be conducted in online mode, the schedule for which shall be notified in due course.
