DNB Post Diploma Admissions 2022: 1098 seats up for grabs in mop-up round, Check out seat matrix
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the Indicative seat matrix for Mop-up Round counselling for admission to DNB Post Diploma courses - 2022 Admission Session
According to the seat matrix, a total of 1098 seats are available for candidates in the mop-up round, the maximum being in the speciality of DNB Post Diploma in Anaesthesiology with over 365 seats up for grabs.
The number is followed by Radio Diagnosis with 165 and Orthopaedics with 161 DNB Post Diploma seats.
The candidates can check out the speciality-wise breakup of the mop-up round seat matrix as follows:

Only the registered candidates who have not been offered any seat during the First, Second and Third round of counseling, will be eligible for the Final (Mop-up) Round of counseling (Refer para 6.4 (2) of the counseling handbook). Candidates who have been allotted a DNB (Post Diploma) seat in the any of the three rounds of counseling but have failed to join the allocated institute shall also be ineligible for participation in Final (Mop-up) Round of counseling.
Candidates are also advised to carefully go through the Flowchart indicating the process of allotment of DNB (Post Diploma) seats in the Mop-up round.

Candidates who do not join their allotted institute in the Final (Mop -up) Round of counseling by the stipulated date i.e. 26-12-2022 will lose their DNB (Post Diploma) Seat & their Fee shall be forfeited.
