Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will declare the result of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in December 2023 by 20th February 2024.
The candidates shall be declared as having passed FMGE only if they obtain a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination. The result is declared as Pass/Fail. There will be no re-evaluation or rechecking or re-totaling. Requests for re-evaluation/re-totaling shall not be entertained.
The results can be seen on the website on the website of NBE. The scorecard shall be available for download to the candidates through applicant login using User ID and Password. Qualified candidates shall be issued Pass Certificates after in-person document and identity verification tentatively within four weeks of the declaration of results, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, this period may vary.
Qualified candidates must attend “in-person” verification of credentials including finger biometrics and Face ID. The schedule for distribution of FMGE PASS certificates shall be published on the NBEMS website after the declaration of the result. Details of documents to be brought for “in-person” verification shall be provided in the entry slip for PASS certificate collection.
All such candidates who would be declared qualified in FMGE December 2023 and fail to collect their FMGE Pass Certificates as per assigned schedule of distribution of Pass Certificates shall be able to collect the same within 6 months of the declaration of result, failing which their candidature & result for FMGE December 2023 would be deemed cancelled. No further opportunity to collect the Pass Certificate shall be given.
A digitally signed office copy of the FMGE result is also sent to the National Medical Commission and all State Medical Councils to verify FMGE Pass Certificates issued to qualified candidates by NBEMS. The FMGE scorecard cannot be produced in lieu of the FMGE Pass Certificate for seeking registration with a State Medical Council.
