FMGE June 2024: NBE notifies on final opportunity to submit deficient documents
New Delhi- Candidates who have failed to rectify certain document-related deficiencies for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) have been given a last chance to submit the documents by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
As per the official notice in this regard by the NBE, the last opportunity to submit the deficient documents is being given from today i.e. 22 June 2024 from 12:00 noon to 25 June 2024 at 11:55 pm.
The documents should be submitted through the Online Deficient Document Submission Portal which is mentioned in the notice.
Following is the list of documents in which the candidates have failed to rectify the deficiencies-
1 Primary Medical Qualification Degree certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate duly apostilled/attested by the Embassy of India in the country from where the primary medical qualification has been obtained.
2 Eligibility Certificate issued by the NMC/MCI (If applicable)/ Admission Letter/ Proof of qualifying NEET-UG.
3 Proof of Citizenship.
4 Mismatch in Name/Date of Birth in documents submitted.
5 Supportive documents for transfer from one medical institution to another.
6 Mark sheet of standard 12th and Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
Meanwhile, candidates who fail to submit the required documents will be declared ineligible for the FMGE June 2024 session. However, no further opportunity will be given to submit the documents.
Also, the candidates who fail to submit duly completed applications with requisite documents and/or fail to rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date prescribed for rectification shall be declared ineligible. Along with this, admit cards will not be issued to those candidates who will be declared ineligible before the conduct of the examination.
The notice further reiterated that pursuant to the recommendations of the National Medical Commission and approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India, only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the FMGE who have both the Eligibility Certificate (if applicable) and the Provisional Pass Certificate/Degree Certificate of Primary Medical Qualification.
