FMGE October 2026: NBE to open selective edit window on October 3

New Delhi: A selective edit window for deficient images is soon going to open for candidates who have successfully applied for FMGE October 2026. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) launched the correction facility for FMGE October 2026, enabling eligible candidates to make necessary changes to their application forms online via the official website.
NBEMS provided the facility to make corrections to FMGE applications in multiple phases; the first edit window was available until September 30, 2026, and a second edit window will be provided subsequently to rectify documents and images with deficiencies.
According to the schedule released by the NBE in this regard, the 'selective edit window' for images with deficiencies will open on October 3 and close on October 19, 2026. Candidates should carefully review the details that can be edited during this window and ensure that all necessary corrections are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

STEP 2- Go to the FMGE section available on the website.
STEP 3- Click on the FMGE October 2026 application or login link.

Meanwhile, according to the FMGE October 2026 Information Bulletin, Subsequent to the closure of the Edit Window, uploaded images (photograph, signature, and thumb impression) of the candidates shall be scrutinised by NBEMS through the Image Scrutiny Portal. Candidates whose uploaded images are found to be deficient or non-compliant with the prescribed Image Upload Guidelines shall be informed via email and/or their applicant login dashboard.
These candidates will be allowed to update their deficient images during the selective edit window from 03 October 2026 to 19 October 2026. No further opportunity shall be given to make corrections.
