KEA Extends deadline for NEET PG, MDS applications, Document Verification Schedule Announced

KEA Extends deadline for NEET PG, MDS applications, Document Verification Schedule Announced

Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the registration date for PG Medical and PG Dental courses for the academic year 2023-24. The document verification schedule has also been announced.

The interested eligible candidates who have qualified in PGNEET-2023 / NEET MDS 2023 but did not register in KEA can register, apply online and pay the fees through the portal from 6.00 pm on 02-08-2023 to 03-08-2023 before 6.00 pm. The candidates who have qualified in PGNEET-2023 / NEET MDS 2023 are eligible to register.

The candidates who have registered but did not complete the application can also fill out the application online and pay the fees.

No further extension of time will be given to candidates for registration and to apply online for PGNEET-2023. Refer KEA Website for more details regarding the PGNEET-2023 process of admission.

The candidates, who have registered online, applied, and paid the registration fees are only eligible to participate in the document verification process with all the necessary original documents subject to qualification in PGNEET-2023 / NEET-MDS 2023. Please read the Information Bulletin regarding the submission of original documents during document verification. Candidates have to be personally present for the verification of documents at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore, on the basis of PGNEET-2023 / NEET-MDS — 2023 All India Rank.

PGNEET-2023 cut-off as per NBE notice dated 14-03-2023

1. For General - cut-off score = 291

2. For SC / ST / 2A /2B/3A/3B/Cat-1 -cut-off score = 257 (only for Karnataka candidates)

NEET MDS 2023 cut-off as per NBE notice dated 10-03-2023

1. For General — cut-off score = 272

2. For SC / ST / 2A /2B/3A/3B/Cat-1 -cut-off score = 238 (only for Karnataka candidates)

Candidates who have scored less than the cut-off score prescribed by PGNEET-2023 or NEET-MDS 2023 will not be eligible to participate in the verification.

Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence, in the NEET-PG 2023 / NEET MDS -2023 examination, if they have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for the 'GENERAL (UR)' category as per the qualifying criteria, then only they are eligible to register for admissions through the KEA in the State of Karnataka. Please note that SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.

The candidates should not produce laminated academic marks cards/formats/certificates for verification, KEA will not verify the marks cards which are laminated, and such candidates will not be eligible for further process of seat allotment.

Candidates have to be personally present as per the schedule for verifying the documents, and no one can represent them.

KEA will publish the details of eligible candidates on the website http://kea.kar.nic.irt after verification.

The candidate should bring all necessary original documents with them in support of eir claim/reservation made in their online application.

Instructions -

1. Mere qualifying in NEET-PG 2023 / NEET MDS-2023 does not confer any right on the candidate for admission unless the candidate fulfills eligibility conditions / submits the documents/certificates. Further, only the candidates who complete the registration process including document verification are eligible for PG Medical seats in Government / Private Colleges in Karnataka

2. Candidates have to appear for verification of documents as per the schedule according to PG NEET-2023 / NEET MDS 2023 All India Medical / Dental rank in the Centre.

3. Candidates should compulsorily produce all the required documents in ORIGINAL with two sets of photocopies of all the original documents.

4. The candidates who become eligible after verification will only be considered for entry of options to become eligible for allotment of seats.
