Telangana- The Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released a fee structure for MBBS and BDS courses for this academic year for the private unaided non-minority / minority medical and dental colleges in Telangana.

As per the GO in this regard, the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) submitted a proposal for fixation of fee structure for MBBS and BDS courses for the block period of 2023-2026 for the private unaided non-minority / minority medical and dental colleges in the State. On this, after careful examination by the Government on this matter, the authorities accepted the recommendations of the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee and fix the fee structure for MBBS and BDS courses for the block period 2023-2026 for the private unaided non-minority/ minority medical and dental colleges in the state and also the Army College of Dental Sciences.

Meanwhile, the following conditions should be followed by all the private unaided non-minorily / minority medical and dental colleges in the state-

1 The management should not charge any capitation fee and there should not be any profiteering. Except for the fee fixed by the Committee, no other amount, either directly or indirectly, can be charged unauthorized or illegally by the management. If any such other amount is charged under any other head or guise it would amount to charging of capitation fee. The surplus (profit) that is generated from the collection of the fee must be for the benefit of the institution and cannot be diverted for other purposes or for personal gain.

2 The total fee of the course should be collected at the beginning of every academic year and in five instalments.

3 The same fee should continue for the students admitted during the block period of 2023-26 till they complete the course.

4 The management of the institutions may seek a bank guarantee for tuition fees chargeable for every succeeding year.

Along with this, the Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal, the Principals of all the private unaided non-minority / minority medical and dental colleges in the State and also the Principal of Army College of Dental Sciences should take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
