MCC Announces Last Date For Admission for PG Medical, Dental, DNB Courses
New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the last date for admission for PG Medical, Dental, and DNB courses for All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institute/ Deemed University/ PG DNB.
As per the notice, the last for admission in an online mode for the above courses is 14th January 2023. The Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS is conducting the special stray vacancy round.
Since the Medical counselling committee receives representations from several States regarding the extension of the last admission date for PG counselling 2022-23, the competent authorities have decided that the timeline for AIQ counselling & State counselling should be on the same lines. Therefore, all the state counselling authorities are informed that the last date of admission/ counselling for the State quota is extended till 14th January 2023.
The state counselling authorities are advised to adhere to the timelines above & complete the whole process of counselling by 14th January 2023.
The process for the special stray vacancy round began on 6th January 2023. The candidates were asked to pay the security deposit from 6th January 2023 to 8th January 2023. During this same period, the choice locking facility was available. The processing of seat allotment was carried out on 9th January 2023. The result will be published today. Reporting to the allotted colleges can be done till 14th January 2023.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allows seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
