MD, MS Admissions 2021: Check out PG medical Fee Structure at Chhattisgarh Medical Colleges
Raipur: In a recent notification, the Directorate of Medical Education (DMER), Chhattisgarh has released the fee structure for Post Graduate Medical courses at the medical colleges of the State.
As per the data provided by the Government in the recent notification dated 24.12.2021, the fee structure has been released in several medical colleges in the State including Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Chhattisgrah Institute of Medical Sciences, Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College, Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal Memorial Government Medical College, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences.
Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College:
For pursuing medical education at Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, the students need to pay Rs 20,000 as tuition fees, Rs 50,000 as a security deposit, Rs 2,000 as Library charges. Besides, the students need to pay another Rs 650 on a monthly basis as Hostel fees.
Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences:
The fee for pursuing PG courses at Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), has been fixed at Rs 20,000 as tuition fees, Rs 50,000 as caution money, Rs 6,000 as Hostel Fees.
Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College:
In this medical college, the annual tuition fee has been fixed at Rs 20000, library fee at Rs 2000, hostel fee at Rs 6000, and hostel development fee has been fixed at Rs 2000. Apart from these, another Rs 50000 needs to be paid by the students as caution money.
Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal Memorial Government Medical College, Raigarh:
For pursuing PG medical courses at this medical college, the students need to pay annual Rs 20,000 as tuition fees, Rs 2000 as Library fees, Rs 210 as Hostel Fees, Rs 400 fees as Hostel Development Fees. Further, the students need to pay another Rs 50000 as Caution Fee.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya:
As per the data provided by the State Government, the annual tuition fee has been fixed at Rs 20,000. Apart from this, the students need to pay Rs 2000 as Library Fees, Rs 6000 as Hostel Fees, Rs 2000 Hostel Development Fees. Besides, the students need to pay another Rs 50000 as caution money.
Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences:
For the tuition fees, the students pursuing their PG medical education at Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences need to pay Rs 28, 50,000. Besides, the students need to pay Rs 4,00,000 as a one-time security fund. For Hostel and Mess charges, the students need to pay Rs 2,50,000 and an extra Rs 1,50,000 as Air-conditioning charges.
Apart from these, the students need to pay Rs 1,00,000 as Uniform Identity Card and Library charges, Rs 10,000 for Admission form charges, and another Rs 25,000 as miscellaneous fees.
The NRI students need to pay $90,000 USD as Hostel and Mess Charges.
Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences:
For the students taking admission to Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses under the State/All India Quota seats, the Annual Fees has been fixed at Rs 462700 for first year fees, and Rs 372700 each for both second and third year. This amount includes the tuition fees and fees collected for several other purposes.
The tuition fees has been fixed at Rs 3785000 for General Medicine, Rs 3170000 for General Surgery, Rs 3485000 for Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Rs 3170000 for Paedistrics, Rs 1950000 for Anaesthesiology, Rs 3485000 for Orthopaedics, Rs 3785000 for both Radidiagnosis and Dermatology, Rs 2935000 for both Opthalmology and Respiratory Medicine, Rs 2275000 for Psychiatry, Rs 1950000 for Otorhinolaryngology. Another Rs 50000 refundable fees need to be paid by the students as caution money.
However, the fees are different in the NRI quota seats. For the NRI quota seats, students need to pay $79945 for General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopedics, Radiodiagnosis, Dermatology, Opthalmology, and Respiratory Medicine. For both Anaesthesiology and Otorhinolarynology the fee is $33500 and in case of Psychiatry, the fee is $61500.
Apart from the tuition fees, the students have to pay Rs 252700 as Hostel and Mess Fees, Rs 50000 as Hostel amenities charges, Rs 50000 as Library & E-Library Charges, Rs 20000 as Student Welfare Fees (Sports and Gymnasium) every year.
Besides, as a one-time basis, the students need to pay Rs 40000 as Miscellaneous charges, Rs 40000 as Skill lab Fees, Rs 10000 for Admission Form/EDRP/Registration/ID Card/ Library Card/ Apron Charges. Further, the students need to pay Rs 10 Lakhs as Guarantee Deposit in the form of BG/DD as one year service bond after completion of course. However, this is refundable fee.
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha:
In order to get admitted to Post graduate courses in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, the students need to pay Rs 225000 for each of the courses including MD Anatomy, MD Physiology, MD Biochemistry, MD Pharmacology, MD Microbiology, MD Community Medicine.
The fee is Rs 1350000 for MD Pathology, Rs 3785000 for MD General Medicine, MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, MD Radio-diagnosis, Rs 2275000 for MD Psychiatry, Rs 2935000 for MD Respiratory Medicine, Rs 3170000 for MS General Surgery, Rs 3485000 for MS Orthopedics, Rs 1950000 for MS ENT, Rs Rs 2935000 for MS Opthalmology, Rs 1950000 for MD Anesthesiology, Rs 3485000for MD Obs & Gyn, Rs 3170000 for MD Pediatrics.
However, the annual fees for NRI Category students is $4500 for MD Anatomy, MD Physiology, MD Biochemistry, MD Pharmacology, MD Microbiology, MD Community Medicine, $24000 for MD Pathology, $79945 for MD General Medicine, $24000 MD Emergency Medicine, $79945 for MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, $61500 MD Psychiatry, $79945 for MD Respiratory Medicine, MS General Surgery, MS Orthopedics, MS Opthalmology, MD Radio-diagnosis, MD Obst & Gyne, and MD Pediatrics, and $33500 for MS ENT, and MD Anesthesiology.
