121 Seats Vacant After Round 2 PG Medical Counselling: CENTAC

Puducherry: 121 seats are vacant after round 2 of the PG Medical admission process. Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the revised seat matrix for the round 3 choice filling.

The PG Medical candidates can carry out the choice-filling process till 29.09.2023, 3.00 pm for round 3. The candidates can fill in the course preferences for Government Quota, Management Quota (Christian and Telugu Minority) & All India Management Quota for PG Medical courses.

All candidates who are registered with CENTAC, including the candidates registered after lowering of cut-off and the candidates allotted during round 1 / round 2 (Joined / Not Joined), are eligible for round 3 counselling. Candidates can participate in round 3 without any limitation regarding round 2 allotment, if any. The revised merit list, including the candidates registered after lowering of cut-off, will be published on the CENTAC website.

All candidates registering for round 3 should submit course preferences afresh for round 3. There is no registration fee to apply for round 3 counselling. In round 2, after filling the Christian / Telugu Minority Management Quota Seats, the remaining unfilled seats were converted into All India Management Quota and filled in round 2 itself. However, in round 3, the unfilled Management Quota seats will be reverted back to Management Quota Christian / Telugu Minority seats. So, candidates can opt for Management Quota – Christian / Telugu Minority seats also.

After filling the Christian / Telugu Minority Management Quota Seats, the remaining unfilled seats will be converted into All India Management Quota and filled in round 3 itself. Accordingly, Course preferences for Management Quota need to be submitted.
