1510 seats available for NEET PG Counselling in Tamil Nadu: Check out seat matrix, schedule
Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has announced the seat matrix and tentative round 1 NEET PG counselling schedule for PG Degree/Diploma courses 2022-23 for government medical colleges and self-financing medical colleges government quota.
Seat matrix –
A total of 1510 seats are available for PG Degree/Diploma courses. Government colleges have 1121 seats, self-financing medical colleges have 347 seats, and Christian Medical College, Vellore has 42 seats.

DME has requested the candidates not to share their login-id and password. Candidates participating in online counselling for PG Degree/ Diploma course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1000 as a processing fee online by using a Debit Card/Net Banking or Credit Card.
Security Deposit -
1. Choice locking of seats in Government Medical Colleges alone – Rs.30000
2. Choice locking of seats in Government Medical Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Medical Colleges – Rs. 100000
The candidates should do the choice filling carefully. Selection of candidates to PG Degree/ Diploma course shall be based on rank by applying the rule of reservation/200 Point Roster method, whichever is applicable.
Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned Medical College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission and liable for criminal action if suppression of facts and/or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
Suppose the candidates are allotted a seat in Government Medical College. In that case, they can download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College on or before the stipulated date and time mentioned in the allotment order.
Suppose the candidates are allotted a Government Quota seat in Self Financing Medical College. In that case, they should pay the tuition fee fixed by the Fee Committee, download the provisional allotment order, and join the course in the concerned Medical College on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the allotment order.
The candidates should produce the following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Medical College along with the scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned College –
1. NEET PG-2022-Score Card.
2. NEET P G - 2022 Admit Card.
3. Aadhar Card
4. MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate and Diploma certificate.
5. CRRI Completion Certificate.
6. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
7. Community Certificate (if applicable)
8. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.
9. Nativity Certificate/Residence Certificate from the Competent Revenue Authority ( Whichever is applicable) with supportive documents.
10. Recent Regional Medical Board Certificate for Person with Disabilities.
11. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.
12. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6"), the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET PG-2022.
