1,814 DM, MCh, DNB SS seats available for MCC NEET SS 2025 counselling special stray vacancy round
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the clear vacancy matrix for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET Super Speciality (SS) Counselling 2025, detailing vacant DM, MCh and DNB SS seats available across medical colleges and hospitals in India.
The vacancy matrix provides institute-wise details of seats available under different super-speciality groups. For each vacancy, MCC has specified the course, stream, state, institute, quota, branch, category and number of seats. The seats listed in the matrix are under the All India quota and are shown under the Open category.
According to the clear vacancy matrix, a total of 1814 seats are vacant across a wide range of super-speciality disciplines.

The release of the matrix comes alongside MCC's decision to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for SS Counselling 2025. According to a separate MCC notice dated September 25, 2026, the round is being conducted following the reduction of the qualifying percentile from the existing 50th percentile to the 30th percentile.
