260 seats available for 6-Month Ultrasound Course, Rajasthan Counselling Board Notifies eligibility, Guidelines

Rajasthan- Through a notification, the Rajasthan Counselling Board has informed regarding the instructions and provisional seat matrix for allotment to the 6-month Ultrasound Course.
As per the notification, the Counselling Board will also conduct counseling for 6 months Ultra-Sound Course under PCPNDT Rules. Therefore, the selection of candidates for 6 months Ultra-Sound Course shall be done by following the procedure as has been applicable before the year 2000.
ELIGIBILITY
All the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) for the academic year 2024 qualified candidates who possess the degree of MBBS from the colleges situated in the State of Rajasthan or all medical officers/medical teachers serving under Government of Rajasthan are eligible to participate.
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that preferences upto 50% of the seats shall be given to the in-service candidates serving in Rajasthan Government. In addition, in case during or after round 2 allotment process, an adequate number of candidates having eligibility according to the above are not available for admission then NEET qualified candidates having Rajasthan State domicile certificate will be considered for the allotment process, after exhausting the list of candidates having eligibility as above. The NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates having Rajasthan State domicile certificate may opt/ apply accordingly.

Along with this, the Rajasthan Counselling Board has also released the Provisional vacant seat matrix for 6 months Ultra-Sound Course under PCPNDT Rules. As per the seat matrix, a total of 260 seats are vacant across 6 Medical colleges of Rajasthan. Of these, SNMC, Jodhpur has the highest vacant seats with 60 and GMC, Kota has the lowest vacant seats of 24.
