26,795 PG medical seats available for MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024, details
New Delhi- For MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB admissions this year, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix for candidates willing to appear in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling allotment process for AIQ, Deemed, Central State Quota.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 6805 seats are vacant in the DNB course, 6140 seats are vacant in Deemed University, 819 seats are vacant in Internal Quota and 12761 seats are vacant in All India Quota (MD/MS/DIPLOMA).
There are a total of 4 rounds of the counselling process. i.e. round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round. The MCC AIQ counselling began on November 7, 2024, with the commencement of Round 1 and will end on January 30, 2025, following the completion of the Online Stray Vacancy Round. As per the recent schedule released by MCC, the state counselling authorities will begin the counselling on November 18, 2024, after the sharing of joined candidates date by the MCC on 28th to 29th November.
After the completion of the NEET PG counselling 2024 choice-filling process, the choice-locking facility will be held on November 17, 2024, from 4 pm to 11.55 pm. Following this, the seat allotment process will then be done on November 18 to 19, 2024, and the result for Round 1 of counselling will be declared on November 20, 2024.
