The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) conducted the 4th stray vacancy round for the UG Medical courses from 18th April 2022 to 26th April 2022.
Given the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from the Government of Gujarat, the stray vacancy rounds were conducted offline through video conferencing only.
No proxy and authority were allowed in the 4th stray vacancy round, which is the offline counselling process. The candidates were called as per the merit rank and were allotted admission on vacant seats as well as vacancies arise due to up-gradation of seats during counselling. They were offered seats as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank.
All the candidates who are included in the merit list were allowed to participate in this round, except the candidates who had secured and joined admission in round 2 of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
The seat allotment list is prepared based on various factors like choices filled by the candidates, rank in the NEET 2021 exam, and availability of seats.
