32 Seats Vacant After Completion Of Admission Process For NEET PG, NEET MDS Courses in Gujarat
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released the vacancy details after the completion of the admission process for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses for the academic year 2023 -2024.
A total of 32 seats are vacant for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses after the completion of the admission process. NEET PG has 16 seats, and NEET MDS has 16 seats vacant. For NEET PG, seats are vacant for Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, and Pathology (DNB), and for NEET MDS, seats are vacant for Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology, and Public Health Dentistry.

Further, the admission process for the academic year 2023-24 of Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS/Diploma) and Dental (MDS) courses is declared complete by the admission committee. Therefore, all the students and parents are informed that admission to Postgraduate Medical and Dental Courses will not be changed, nor will the Admission Committee cancel any admission.
Recently, the Medical Dialogues team reported that DME had extended the last date for the online registration & document uploading process for vacant seats for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses. The last date for online registration & document upload for vacant seat counseling is extended till 10:00 am on 20th October 2023.
The Government of Gujarat, by way of a notification, had constituted the “Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)” to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counseling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly on the basis of the merit of the candidate.
