403 seats available for AFMS PG Medical Admissions 2021
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC under Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released the Seat Matrix for MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB courses available for candidates seeking admissions in Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) across India.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS) conducts the counseling for AFMS. Exam Conducting Authority for AFMS is the National Board of Examination (NBE).
According to the seat matrix, 403 AFMS seats under 29 courses are available across six medical colleges across India.

Of the PG degree courses, General Medicine has the highest number of seats allotted, with 59 seats. Whereas General Surgery has 52, Anaesthesiology has 44, Radiodiagnosis 26, Paediatrics, Pathology has 25 each, Ophthalmology has 24, Obstetrics & Gynaecology has 22, and ENT has 20 seats. Rest all the courses have below 20 seats.
Admission to this college will be on the basis of the marks scored in NEET PG 2021. Candidates with qualified marks in NEET PG will be eligible to fill the registration form for AFMC PG Medical counselling.
Armed Forces Medical Services is the first tri-service (Army, Navy, and Air Force) organization and one of the largest organized medical services in the country. It provides medical support to the Armed Forces as well as comprehensive healthcare to all service personnel, ex-servicemen.
